What it does

Even strips, every pass.

Feed your wool in, turn the handle, and it comes out in clean, even strips. Swap the cartridge and the same machine cuts a different width.

Why a Honeydoo

Built around what rug hookers asked for.

Mark set out to design one machine that brought together the features rug hookers wanted in a cutter. The result offers:

  • No clamping or strapping
  • A carry handle
  • Lightweight
  • Self-storing blades
  • A wide feed tray
  • Precision cutting
  • Minimal maintenance

The color range

Pick your finish.

Every cutter is anodized in one of four colors: blue, purple, red or orange. Same machine — the color is yours to choose.

All four finishes, with cartridges to match

Red — #6 fitted, #10 and #8 stored

Purple Honeydoo cutter with a #3 cartridge mounted and #6 and #4 cartridges held in its storage section

Purple — #3 fitted, #6 and #4 stored

Cut sizes

Eighteen widths, one simple rule.

The cutter number is the width in thirty-seconds of an inch. A #4 cuts 4/32" — an eighth of an inch. A #8 cuts a quarter inch.

From the rug hooking community

What people say.

“The HoneyDoo cutting system has been a game changer for my wool cutting needs. This machine delivers multiple strips in many blade sizes with precision making cutting quicker and more efficient. Love my HoneyDoo because it allows me to get to what I really want to do and that is hook.”

Heidi M., Florida

“I purchased the burnt orange Honeydoo cutter, and the case to hold the individual blade dies. I absolutely love it, Mark is great to work with and I love supporting products made in the USA!”

Beth W., New York

“I was so happy to find the HoneyDoo Rug Cutter. It has a smooth cutting action, and the blades are easy to change out in no time and with no effort at all. It’s compact, carries 3 blades on it, isn’t heavy, and needs no clamping to a table when you use it. I highly recommend this cutter if you’re looking for a new one.”

Lori N., New York
